§ 9.1.9. Appeals procedure.

9.1.9.1 Appeal of staff decision. Any person aggrieved by the decision of any city official in the enforcement or interpretation of this article, may appeal such decision to the planning board of the City of Altamonte Springs within 30 days from said decision. The planning board, by majority vote, may affirm, reverse, or modify the decision of the city official.

9.1.9.2 Appeal of planning board decision. Any person aggrieved by any decision of the planning board in the enforcement, interpretation or appeal of a decision of this article may appeal such decision of the planning board. The city commission shall review the entire plan, subdivision or other matter presented to them and shall not be limited to a mere portion or part of the overall matter.

9.1.9.3 Appeal of city commission decision. Decisions of the city commission may be appealed to the circuit court within 30 days from the date of said decision, for review by certiorari, not de novo. Such appeal to the circuit court shall be restricted to the record before the city commission, or, if the city commission concurs with the decision of the planning board, the record to be reviewed shall be that of the hearing before both the planning board and city commission.
